Level 1 (AC Charging)

  • Low output (1.9 kW) and generally plugs into standard 120V outlet
  • Occasional-Use Charging
  • Used when dwell time is not a factor
  • Included with Vehicle
  • Can take 50+ hours to charge an empty battery (assuming 50 kWh battery)
  • Not rebate eligible

Level 2 (AC Charging)

  • High output (up-to 19.2 kW) and generally connects to 220V
  • Charges up-to 13x faster than Level 1 chargers
  • Can charge empty battery in 5-8 hours
  • Minimum requirement for most rebates

Level 3 (DC Charging)

  • Highest output of charging (50+ kW)
  • Can charge DC-equipped vehicles up to 80% in 20-30 minutes
  • "Totem" of dedication towards Electric Vehicles
